Here we have a gorgeous 2.40 carat unheated unenhanced natural earth mined canary yellow pear cut sapphire.
The beautifully proportioned sapphire measures 9.57mm by 7.56mm by 4.12mm.
It is Eye Clean which is the highest clarity grade that can be assigned to a sapphire by a qualified Appraiser. That being said even with a high powered microscope it is difficult to find an inclusion in this special sapphire.
This large sapphire is as it was mined having been faceted and polished. There has been no heating, no filling, no diffusion, no enhancement whatsoever.
There is incredible sparkle here! The color too is exciting a very deep yellow with hint of orange amidst the body color in some lighting conditions.
This heirloom quality fine natural sapphire has never been set.
