An amazing quality pair of handmade true one of a kind solid 14K and solid 18K gold drop earrings.
Each earring measures 1 7/8" long by 9/16" wide.
The bottom drop of each earring dates to the 19th century and is solid 14K gold.
The top of each earring is a later addition dating to the mid 20th century and is 18K gold. These are comfortable ear clips.
The ear clips are marked 750 for 18 karat gold, testing confirms the same.
Testing of the drops confirms solid 14 karat gold.
Together the pair weigh 13.6 grams approx.
The clips are astonishingly comfortable to wear and are very secure.
If desired the 18K tops could be easily replaced with shepherds hooks.
They are in lovely condition the Victorian drops have age consistent patina to the solid 14 karat gold consistent with their age and authenticity.
