Here we have a glorious dazzling mid century period huge synthetic orange sapphire solitaire ring crafted in 14K gold and signed STRELL for Strellman.

Original rings by this designer are quite rare to see. Late styles predominate such as lense cuts and these later rings by this designer were produced in large numbers. The original rings were very small or perhaps custom productions in statement designs. This particular design is amazing because of the unique setting - I have never seen another setting like it! But also wonderful because of the dazzling intense and enormous set sapphire- this enormous stone is cut to perfect proportions and just totally dazzles the eyes!

This statement ring measures 19mm along the finger sitting 20mm wide and rises 11mm from the finger. The center synthetic orange sapphire measures 16mm in diameter weighing 16.5 carats! The color is the brightest saturated orange one could imagine an intense bright orange with a hint of red in it.

Inside the shank 14K can still be made out although it is difficult to see without reflected light. STRELL is clearly marked to the other side.

This wonderful inspiration cocktail or engagement ring weighs 13.55 grams and is a size 6 3/4 US. It can be sized within a range - please inquire.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
