Here is an exceptional Art Nouveau completely handmade silver filigree bracelet circa 1890.
The workmanship here is reminiscent of 18th century filigree in the quality and intricacy of this amazing piece. Each panel is entirely made by hand with silver wire twisted and wound into a fern and frond design each bouquet tied with a feminine bow. Amazingly each panel is not flat but the silver lace design is raised in relief with the central fern frond sitting higher to the rest of the panel. When the light hits this fine silver handmade lace it truly looks magical!
There is a box clasp with a figure eight safety which closes securely with a nice click. The clasp is marked for 800 for fine European silver.
It measures approximately 7 1/16" long by 1 1/8" wide across each lace panel (180mm x 28mm) and weighs approximately 27.9 grams.
This heirloom quality antique bracelet is in beautiful condition being ready to gift or to wear.
