This unique emerald engagement or anniversary ring is one of a kind.
It is handmade in solid 14K gold. Today we rarely see this quality and sadly most "handmade" rings are cast then polished but not handmade at all and were manufactured using CAD computer imaging design software with molds printed and cast. Stones can even be cast in place and not even set by hand! That means the stones are likely to be lost and the claws are brittle and uneven. These CAD rings do not have the quality of handmade gold rings and are unlikely to be able to be passed onto future generations but rather will be scrapped because of the porosity of the metal and other factors of casting using this cheap technology. This handmade ring is quality and will stand the test of time. It is an heirloom jewel like no other.
This emerald leaf ring is designed as a branch of leaves with white flowers the whole decorated with gem quality earth mined natural emeralds and natural untreated earth mined sparkly white natural diamonds.
The emerald and diamond set cluster measures 15/16" in length making a big statement on the hand (23mm).
There is one (1) carat of natural gem quality emeralds set to represent leaves.
The two natural earth mined diamonds are F in color with one weighing 0.42 carats SI1 in clarity and the other weighing 0.40 carats SI2 in clarity.
The total diamond weight here is 0.82 carats.

Please note that each of the lovely marquise diamonds has a single small chip on its girdle, although this can be seen with the loupe or microscope it cannot be seen with the naked eye. In recent times many diamonds especially colored diamonds are grown in laboratories. These diamonds are diamonds but are man made. The diamonds in this ring are mined from the earth and are natural diamonds.
In recent years emeralds have been clarity enhanced by filling any fissures or cracks with polymer resin, sometimes the polymer is colored as well, with time the filler falls out or goes cloudy ruining the stone. Glass can be used in a similar way. Colored coatings can be applied to the back of an emerald. These treatments are unacceptable and such treated stones are of very low value. We do not sell emeralds with these treatments.
