This quality bracelet has been made with no expense spared. The sapphires are all perfectly matched for color a dazzling cornflower blue. Each extra fine gem quality blue sapphire is unheated and untreated. Surrounding each of the 39 exquisite blue sapphires is a halo of eleven sparkling white round brilliant cut natural diamonds. The setting and workmanship are of beautiful quality. The set precious stones are dazzling.
The bracelet is sinuous with all the links articulated so they drape on the wrist and it feels beautiful to wear.
To the reverse of the lovely box clasp is a 14K metal fineness stamp meaning solid 14 karat white gold. This confirmed by testing.

Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
Unfortunately, in the last two decades many sapphires seen in modern jewelry have had the color induced by high temperature heating in chemicals such as beryllium. This is called diffusion treatment and includes surface diffusion, bulk diffusion, lattice diffusion, deep diffusion and beryllium treatment. In recent years sapphires have been clarity enhanced by filling any fissures or cracks with molten lead glass, sometimes the glass is colored as well, with time the filler falls out or goes cloudy ruining the stone. Polymer resins can be used in a similar way. Colored coatings can be applied to the back of a sapphire. These treatments are unacceptable and such treated stones are of very low value. We do not sell sapphires with these treatments. The sapphires in this bracelet are unheated and untreated of extra fine gem quality.
In recent times many diamonds especially are grown in laboratories. These diamonds are diamonds but are man made. Natural diamonds are more rare and more valuable than their man made counterparts. These man made diamonds are often set without disclosure in modern and contemporary jewelry as a cheaper alternative to natural earth mined diamonds. The diamonds in this bracelet are natural earth mined diamonds and are untreated, which is lovely indeed.
