An astonishing original Art Deco ring of heirloom quality. This beautiful 1920s handmade ring is set with the finest earth mined turquoise and fine white diamonds. It is in a bombe dome design crafted from solid 18K gold and is an original Art Deco period ring not a reproduction.

This custom designed antique ring is absolutely gorgeous. At the center of a completely hand made one of a kind ballerina style domed setting which rises quite high is set the most astonishingly consistent vivid blue fine Persian turquoise cabochon. This cabochon is consistently the same amazing color throughout with no veining and no imperfections. It is an untreated piece of the finest quality untreated natural turquoise that money can buy. It would be very difficult to be able to obtain untreated turquoise of this consistent saturated color or in this size on the market today. Modern turquoise is dyed and stabilized with plastic resins.

The diamond tiers which form the perfect contrast to the exceptional blue of the fine turquoise are beautifully made. The setting absolutely captures charm, exuberance and luxury of the late deco era. I love the attention to detail and perfectly space little diamond settings which form a double glittering frame around the beautiful central cabochon.

A full list of the gorgeous hand selected and hand set precious gems which are in this ring is as follows:
*an exquisite hand polished cabochon of untreated turquoise with no imperfections measuring 14.3mm long by 9.5mm wide by 6.4mm deep and weighing 6.5 carats as estimated in the setting.

In total the diamond weight is 1.08 carats with all single cut sparkly white diamonds being VS clarity and F/G in color.

The total turquoise and diamond weight in the ring is 7.58 carats.

It does look like a much larger diamond weight and this is because of the perfectly cut old cut diamonds which are far more sparkly than a comparable brilliant cut stone of the same size. These spectacular fine quality little stones have amazing whiteness and perfect clarity. Our diamond grader cannot grade higher than VS F for diamonds in a setting but it is certain that if these stones were removed and graded they would grade higher than VS F.

This divine ring is in lovely condition and is ready to gift or to wear. It presents beautifully!

The white gold in this genuine 1920s ring shows lovely antique patina and bloom that only comes with true age.

It is currently a size 5 3/4 US sizing. Of course with a setting like this this ring can be resized to any size required at little cost.

Inside the ring it is not marked for metal fineness but does test as solid 18K gold and we guarantee it as such.

Just to make the gold setting alone would take around 28 hours of a highly skilled master jewelers time. It is just exquisitely made. Every fine detail is perfectly finished. This is a hand made ring the like of which we do not see in contemporary pieces.

I love the soothing quality and beauty of the turquoise and the exciting luxury of the sparkly diamonds. What also appeals to me though is it is so feminine!

Like all of the finest quality luxury jewels this one of a kind ring just feels beautiful to wear.

Today with the trending fashion in engagement rings shifting swiftly to non-traditional styles and signature pieces this stunning Art Deco ring would make a perfect engagement ring.

Of course it can be a wear everyday piece of luxury that is a dress ring during the day and a cocktail ring at special events.

Pieces like this are seldom available on the market today as there are so many Art deco reproduction rings on the market either cast or cut with CAD technologies. It certainly does make the perfect heirloom ring which can be adored and enjoyed for a lifetime and handed down in the family for generations to come. It is a special piece.

This precious item comes with a full appraisal. This appraisal has been made by a professional Gemologist and accredited Jewelry Appraiser who is a specialist in the field. It would be very difficult to find a similar replacement original hand made Art Deco ring with this quality of turquoise or this finely made on the market today.

It will be sent in a presentation box.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
