A genuine Art Deco period circa 1925 completely traditionally handmade extra fine gem quality untreated natural turquoise and untreated natural diamond one of a kind solid 18K white gold ring.
This divine genuine Art Deco period ring is a one of a kind museum quality piece made 100 years ago. It is not a reproduction.
The setting is completely handmade, a custom design of the period truly one of a kind designed just for the museum quality dazzling turquoise cabochon! The two tiers of beautifully set sparkling natural untreated white diamonds provide the perfect contrast to the exceptional turquoise. I adore how the upper tier of diamonds is reminiscent of laurel leaves- it's such a beautiful setting!
And what dazzling turquoise this is! The color a saturated intense turquoise blue - vivid blue with a hint of green that is mesmerizing in it's intensity. The age of the ring has given the cabochon a velvety patina attesting to the period authenticity of this piece. It is a large perfect cabochon of untreated turquoise with no imperfections or inclusions visible on the top of the large cabochon. This quality is extremely rare seldom do we see this consistency of color or this saturated perfect turquoise blue. Viewed underneath the cabochon lovely matrix attests to the fact that this is an earth mined natural large turquoise of the finest color and quality. Turquoise of this quality is seldom seen and of very high value. At this time such cabochons were mined only in the middle east. Of course today such turquoise still considered the finest quality. Turquoise is rarely seen of this quality and if so it is only in very small cabochons not in such a large size and in vintage jewelry from a long time ago.
This large extra fine gem quality turquoise cabochon measures 14.3mm long by 9.5mm wide by 6.4mm deep and weighs 6.5 carats. This amazing turquoise has a waxy slightly velvety luster and the color and size of this dazzling turquoise is breathtaking!
The diamonds are VS clarity G/H/I color with a total diamond weight of 1.08 carats.
The total turquoise and diamond weight in the ring is 7.58 carats.
The gold here is 18 karat white gold of the period completely without rhodium plating. The antique white gold has a slight warmth and patina to it attesting to the age and authenticity of this ring.
Consistent with the majority of one of a kind artisan custom made pieces of the Art Deco period there isn't a metal fineness stamp. Professional testing confirms solid 18 karat white gold.
It is a size 5 3/4 US and can be resized.
The beautiful turquoise and diamond cluster measures approx. 23.5mm x 19.0mm and rises 16mm high from the finger. This ring is luxurious and large making a big splash of color and sparkle on the hand!
Like all of the finest quality luxury jewels this one of a kind antique finest quality turquoise and diamond ring just feels beautiful on the hand!

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
Comment:
Pieces like this are seldom available on the market today as there are so many Art deco reproduction rings on the market either manufactured with CAD technologies and casting. Reproductions cannot be compared to original period antiques in value. The museum quality rare and very large turquoise and one of a kind diamond setting of the period certainly does make the perfect heirloom ring which can be adored and enjoyed for a lifetime and handed down in the family for generations to come.
Most turquoise seen in modern jewelry is stablized turquoise or block turquoise. Such turquoise is of low value and cannot be compared to untreated natural turquoise of this quality.
