Appearing in profile as an ethereal somewhat mysterious figure almost as a goddess we have a beautiful woman with flowers set into her hair and on her bodice. The bone white of the shell cameo makes a striking color contrast against the black of the onyx plaquette beneath.

Surrounding the whole is a delicate lace frame made entirely by hand in 14K gold. Over the years there is a slightly yellow tint in places to the hundred year old filigree gold lace.

On the safety catch a 14K metal fineness stamp can be seen.

The chain is an Italian white gold chain. Clear 14K Italy stamps can be seen on the chain fittings. This lovely chain has been added at a later date and cannot be removed from the pendant at present. To alter this by making the fittings smaller for the chain or larger for the bale is an easy alteration if you would prefer to wear the cameo as a brooch in addition to a pendant.

In total it weighs 19.47 grams.

The cameo pendant itself measures 1 5/8" long not including the bale and 1 5/16" wide (41mm x 33mm).

The chain measures 16" in length.

This beautiful and rare Art Deco jewel is in lovely condition presenting beautifully! It is ready to gift or to wear as you choose.

Like all colored stones and colors of items generally there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings
