Each pretty earring measures approximately 7/8" long by 1/2" wide (22mm x 13mm). The bottom drops measuring 9/16" long and the diamond studs forming the top of the earrings measuring in 3/16" diameter (15.5mm, 4.6mm).
On the reverse clear 18K 750 stamps meaning solid 18 karat white gold, this confirmed by testing. Together the pair weigh 6 grams.

Unfortunately, in the last two decades many sapphires seen in modern jewelry have had the color induced by high temperature heating in chemicals such as beryllium. This is called diffusion treatment and includes surface diffusion, bulk diffusion, lattice diffusion, deep diffusion and beryllium treatment. In recent years sapphires have been clarity enhanced by filling any fissures or cracks with molten lead glass, sometimes the glass is colored as well, with time the filler falls out or goes cloudy ruining the stone. Polymer resins can be used in a similar way. Colored coatings can be applied to the back of a sapphire. These treatments are undesirable and such treated stones are of very low value. The sapphires in these earrings are an ideal intense cornflower blue, very large and extra fine gem quality they are unheated and untreated making these dazzling earrings the perfect choice for a very special sapphire celebration such as a milestone birthday, a sapphire anniversary or an engagement.
