Here we have a superb sparkly diamond and ruby set bee pendant brooch crafted in solid 14K yellow gold.

This charming little bee was kept for best in a safe deposit box for several decades. He glitters beautifully in the light when you hold him.

In total he weighs approximately 3.7 grams making him perfect on a lightweight blouse or a lapel of a winter coat alike.

This pretty bee measures approximately 7/8" wide by 15/16" long and he is very three dimensional standing approximately 3/8" tall from the pin of the brooch to highest point on his body (22mm x 23mm x 9mm).

On the reverse we have two metal fineness stamps "14K" on one wing and "585" on the other. Professional testing confirms the same.

To the top of the bee there is a bale so he can be worn as pendant. There is also a pin that secures with a safety catch so he can be worn as a beautiful brooch.

The sparkly natural diamond is round brilliant cut VS clarity and G color weighing a full eight points. This pretty diamond is surrounded by a halo of natural earth mined red rubies and the body of the bee is also covered with a dazzling display of fine round cut natural red rubies. These precious gem quality rubies are beautifully matched for color and clarity across the little bee and have been set by hand by a master gem setter.

In total there are 19 rubies set in this piece.

The total carat weight here of fine gem quality rubies is 1.27 carats.

This makes the total diamond and ruby weight 1.35 carats.

Our pretty natural ruby and diamond bee is in excellent condition and is ready to gift or to wear.

He shall be sent in a presentation box for safe keeping.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
