A spectacular and very rare genuine Georgian period 18th century diamond 18K gold cross.

This gorgeous cross is very rare and dates to the 18th century it is not a reproduction.

There are approximately 1 carat of natural diamonds set in this lovely cross. These diamonds have been polished only consistent with the period.

It is a beautiful size and measures 2 5/8" long by 1 7/16" wide by 1/4" deep (66mm x 36mm x 7mm)

Testing confirms solid 18K gold. It weighs 11.7 grams.

It is in good antique condition consistent with the age and authenticity of this cross. This piece is over two hundred years old, it is not a reproduction.

It's lovely to come across these early jewels. It feels beautiful to hold and the old cut diamonds give a very special twinkle when the light catches them. I adore the bloomed finish age has given the gold it looks refined and very luxurious.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings. When you see this ring in person the play of color will look different outside, inside and in every lighting condition and in every angle! That is the beauty of course of this exceptionally rare natural gemstone. We do our very best to show every piece accurately in our listings and take photos in daylight equivalent lighting conditions.
