Here we have a very pretty pair of natural unheated untreated pink sapphire and fancy natural untreated salt and pepper diamond stud earrings.
These pretty vintage sapphire and diamond earrings are completely handmade.
They are in lovely condition and are ready to gift or to wear.
Each natural oval cut unheated untreated sapphire is a deep pink with an overtone of red. If I had to describe the color as an analogy fuschias come to mind! In some lighting conditions they appear more pink to the eye and others more red. To a trained eye some inclusions can just be seen in these gem quality rubies although to most people these would not be eye visible.
The oval cut beautiful sapphires measure respectively 7.12mm x 5.21mm with an estimated depth and 7.21mm x 5.01mm with an estimated depth. They each weigh approximately 1.1 carat. So, the total sapphire weight is 2.2 carats for the pair! Perfect for a ruby anniversary or special birthday!
There is an additional 1.1 carat of salt and pepper diamonds in a traditional halo surrounding the stunning sapphires.
The total carat weight of fancy sapphires and fancy diamonds is 3.3 carats.
Each pretty earring measures approximately 9/16" long by 7/16" wide (14.1mm x 11.4mm).
Together the pair weigh approximately 3.8 grams making them super comfortable to wear all day!
There is a 585 metal fineness stamp on the reverse. meaning solid 14 Karat yellow gold. Professional testing confirms the same.
The earring fittings here are screw backs for pierced ears. These fittings take some patience to place on but are just about the most secure fittings you could ever wish for in a special pair of earrings such as these.
An Appraisal Report is included with your purchase of these custom hand made sapphire and diamond earrings.
They shall be sent in a presentation box for safe keeping.
The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
