Here we have a sparkling natural untreated rainbow multi-gemstone handmade one of a kind ring in 14K gold dating to the 1950s.
I adore jewelry of this era! The 1950s had a post war exuberance and designs were often wildly refreshing, beautiful and innovative unlike any previous jewelry seen before! This ring encapsulates that enthusiasm, vivacity and the quality of the finest custom made pieces of the 1950s. The quality shines, the colors make you smile and the style somehow even 70 years later is so out of the ballpark gloriously unique!
There are so many dimensions to this design. The exquisite selection of the gorgeous natural gems, the arrangement for size and color, the wonderful circular pyramid, the beautiful setting.....this quality ring is all about a celebration of life, of individual beauty and self expression. It has heart and soul!
The size of the cluster is lovely as it spans the whole width of the finger from side to side - the color splash and sparkle are glorious to behold.
True to the best jewelry manufacture of this era. This ring is completely handmade. The quality and precision and expertise here are as fine as they get. Today we rarely see this quality and sadly most "handmade" rings are cast then polished but not handmade at all and were manufactured using CAD computer imaging design software with molds printed and cast. Stones can even be cast in place and not even set by hand! That means the stones are likely to be lost and the claws are brittle and uneven. These CAD rings do not have the quality of handmade gold rings and are unlikely to be able to be passed onto future generations but rather will be scrapped because of the porosity of the metal and other factors of casting using this cheap technology. This handmade ring is quality and will stand the test of time. It is an heirloom jewel like no other.
There are 27 exquisite untreated natural gemstones including:
-3 aquamarines (the largest central delicate blue stone is one of these)

The central aquamarine measures 4.9mm whilst the average diameter of the other gorgeous natural gems is 3.9mm.
There is a total estimated carat weight of 6.42 carats. The central exquisite powder blue sparkling natural untreated aquamarine itself weighs 0.55 carats.
Testing concludes solid 14 karat yellow gold. It weighs 6.35 grams.
The gem set cluster itself measures 3/4" long by 13/16" wide and rises 9/16" high off the finger (19mm x 20mm x 15mm).

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
