A divine pair of original 1950s star flower earth mined emerald and fine diamond 14K solid gold earrings.

These exclusive totally hand crafted earrings date to the mid century period. They are designed as large stylized flowers each with an exceptional natural emerald cabochon center. At the tip of each pretty petal there is a fine white diamond set. They look like they have come straight off the set for the 'Mad Men" series.

Typical to the era they have ear clip fittings. Unlike so many clip earrings these earrings are not too tight and are very comfortable to wear.

Together the pair weigh 10.91 grams.

Each lovely earring measures 1" long and is 1" wide (26mm x 26mm).

There are 0.48 carats of sparkly natural diamonds set as beautiful accents in these pretty earrings. Each of these untreated diamonds measures 2.2mm in diameter and is VS/SI H/I/J single cut and four claw set.

The translucent emerald cabochons are well matched in color and weigh a total of 3 carats as estimated in the settings. The emeralds themselves are sizable measuring each 6.4mm in diameter and 5.5mm deep on average.

This makes the total precious emerald and diamond weight 3.48 carats.

I love how these gorgeous mid century earrings capture the enthusiasm and creativity that was pervasive in the mid century era.

This pretty pair of earrings are guaranteed to be bespoke pieces dating to the 1950s not a reproduction item.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings
