Today we rarely see this quality and sadly most "handmade" rings are cast then polished but not handmade at all and were manufactured using CAD computer imaging design software with molds printed and cast. Stones can even be cast in place and not even set by hand! That means the stones are likely to be lost and the claws are brittle and uneven. These CAD rings do not have the quality of handmade gold rings and are unlikely to be able to be passed onto future generations but rather will be scrapped because of the porosity of the metal and other factors of casting using this cheap technology. This exceptional ring is completely handmade making it the perfect choice for a very special heirloom ring! What a gorgeous signature piece it is!
