A huge custom made mid century diamond and sapphire cluster status symbol ring in solid 14K white gold.
This one of a kind precious sapphire and sparkly diamond ring is enormous. It is the biggest cluster ring I have ever seen. The scale of the ring is fun, it's loud and it makes a huge statement. It is not petite....absolutely not dainty....no not at all...this ring is a big stylish luxury ring.
The amazing sapphire and diamond cluster itself measures 1 9/16" long down the finger by 1 1/8" wide and rises 13/16" high off the hand (40mm x 28mm x 21mm). This is a knuckle to knuckle sized heirloom diamond ring of dramatic proportions.
It isn't just the massive amount of precious gems in this ring that is amazing but the workmanship also completely takes your breath away. The entire ring has been handmade with no cast or machined components. This work without the setting of the precious gems would take perhaps 30 hours of a skilled jewelers time. You just don't see contemporary jewelry made like this today.
The fabulous dark blue sapphires are the perfect contrast to the earth mined fine white diamonds. I love the slightly asymmetrical design which rises in an amazing pyramid towards a central large earth mined untreated unheated fine dark blue pear cut sapphire.

One pear cut 8.9mm by 5.8mm 1.50 carat Australian Gem sapphire
Twenty three 5.75mm by 3.5mm marquise cut fine dark blue Australian gem sapphires each weighing 0.36 carats
The total sapphire weight alone is 9.55 carats!
There are 1.9 carats of diamonds VS/SI G in color.
The combined sapphire and diamond weight is 11.45 carats.
This Elizabeth Taylor style ring is in immaculate condition. There are no repairs and all the beautiful precious gems are contemporaneous to the setting.
Inside the shank it is marked 14K. Our appraisers have confirmed the same. It weighs 14.3 grams in total.
It is currently a size 5 1/2 US. This ring is sizable to most sizes with ease.
This spectacular ring makes me smile. It really reminds me of Old Hollywood glamour of the mid century era. It makes me think of the jewelry that the likes of Elizabeth Taylor wore in the 60s....It is an exciting one of a kind original era piece.
