This dazzling one of a kind vintage ring showcases an huge natural untreated precious Australian white opal weighing 12.80 carats. The opal is a high dome cabochon and the play of color extends not just across the top of the cab but all around the sides of the cabochon as well! There are sparks and glints and flashes of every color in the rainbow against a beautiful white body. There are flashes of red the most valuable color. It's a really large opal measuring 17.9 x 13.4 x 8.6mm the size of a small birds egg. Surrounding this precious untreated Australian white opal is a halo of 0.60 carats old round faceted cut white diamonds VS/SI F/G/H.

The total precious opal and diamond weight is 13.60 carats in this heirloom ring.

This precious opal ring really makes a splash on the hand it is certainly a statement ring looking very dramatic and luxurious on. The diamond and opal set face of the ring measures 15/16" long by 11/16" wide (23 x 18mm). It rises 11/16" (17mm) high off the hand with the beautiful opal catching the light in ever possible direction.

It is in beautiful vintage condition and is ready to gift or to wear.

Inside the shank there is a partially obscured 14k stamp, this confirmed by testing.

This ring weighs 9.8 grams approximately.
