This is an original hand made pair of earrings dating to the 1950s. The design is reminiscent of flames, wings and also of plants and flowers and also remind one that God appeared as a burning bush.
The beautiful gold work catches the light and makes the earrings look like they are aflame.
They are unmarked but have been appraised and are guaranteed to be at least 18 karat yellow gold.
Together the pair weigh 26.61 grams.
They are in mint condition.
Being designed for pierced ears they have hand made omega style fittings on the reverse. Of course with this fitting they could readily be altered to be clips if preferred. Each luxurious hand made earring measures 1 9/16" long by 1" wide (40mm x 26mm).
Today these would cost a small fortune to have these hand made by any fine jeweler. There are countless hours of work to make earrings of these quality and this style by hand.
