Australian Opal Silver Ring. Fiery!
A dazzling large exceptional untreated natural fiery rainbow Australian semi black opal and handmade sterling silver retro ring.
The opal here is divine. The predominant color is red making the opal very rare indeed, this was difficult to photograph indeed. The cabochon is large measuring 17.4mm by 12.8mm by 3.2mm and weighing a huge 5.25 carats! This sort of carat weight is rare for this quality of Australian precious opal. The body color of the extra fine gem quality natural untreated opal is light gray making this semi black opal. There are amazing sparking petite intense spectra and flashbulbs of color across the whole rainbow as light hits the opal. The whole surface of the cabochon is covered in this one of a kind play of color!
Of elegant design the setting is handmade with scroll motif to one side and to the other side the shoulder reminiscent of tendrils or a vine. It is slightly cross over across the finger which is lovely. The design and style can be worn by a man or a woman equally.
This beautiful natural opal ring is a size 6 US (L 1/2 Australian/UK) and is sizable within a wide range.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings. When you see this ring in person the play of color will look different outside, inside and in every lighting condition and in every angle! That is the beauty of course of this exceptionally rare natural gemstone. We do our very best to show every piece accurately in our listings and take photos in daylight equivalent lighting conditions.
