A spectacular mid century vintage pair of natural emerald green imperial jadeite and diamond hand crafted 18K gold earrings.
The color of the jade in these earrings is beautifully saturated and is literally the color of the best quality emeralds. There are two of these exceptional jadeite bi discs set in the earrings. They are both semi transparent in clarity and beautifully matched for color. Each of these discs measures 9.2mm in diameter.
In total the jade bi discs weigh 2 carats. 1 carat for each imperial jade disc. The beautiful jadeite jade in these handmade earrings is untreated. Apart from normal cutting and polishing it is as mined. These days most jade seen in modern earrings has been acid treated, soaked in plastic resin and dyed. Untreated jade is immensely more valuable than modern treated jade.
There are 1.20 carats of F VS clarity diamonds set in the front and the back of the earrings.
These earrings are completely handmade and are a one of a kind pair.
They are marked 750 for solid 18K gold.
The fittings are pierced fittings with omega closures and are sensationally comfortable.
The diamonds are set in white gold with a yellow gold border and the jadeite is set in yellow gold.
These earrings are dazzling quality and the color is simply speaking breathtaking.
Each pretty earring measures approximately 15/16" in length and is 5/8" wide (23mm x 16mm).
Together the pair weigh approximately 8.8 grams.
They are in lovely condition and are ready to gift or to wear.
A full appraisal accompanies these heirloom quality earrings.
They will be sent in a presentation box for safe keeping and ready for gifting.
The photos form part of the description of these exquisite earrings. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
