A delicate genuinely antique Edwardian circa 1910 hand crafted solid gold blue Ceylon sapphire and diamond lavalier pendant necklace.
This gorgeous jewel is a custom made antique piece not a reproduction. Every element has been crafted by hand with no cast or machined components.
The pendant is set with two stunning natural blue oval cut sapphires. The one at the top measures 5.8mm by 4.7mm by 2.9mm and weighs 0.75 carats as estimated in the setting. The sapphire which is larger at the bottom of the pendant measures 6.3mm by 5.5mm by 3.5mm and weighs approximately 1.10 carats.
There are three beautiful G color VS clarity diamond accents with a total weight of 15 points.
The total gem sapphire and diamond weight in this necklace is 2.00 carats.
In total the necklace weighs 3.45 grams.
The pendant has an old English metal fineness mark for 14K gold. The fine chain is solid 10K gold and has a 10K metal fineness mark.
From the top of the chain to the bottom drop of the pendant it measures 2 1/16" long by 1" wide. The length of the pendant not including the chains at the top is 1 1/2" (52mm x 25mm, 46mm x 25mm).
The delicate chain has an inside circumference of 15 1/4" and will fit a small to extra small neck.
