Here we have an exceptional one of a kind handmade natural earth mined unheated ruby and sparkly diamond ring dating to the mid century era, circa 1970.
This ring features five dazzling rich ruby red rubies with sparkling red flashes they are arranged in a cascade across the whole top of the finger sparkling white diamonds arranged beautifully in geometric settings make the perfect color pop! What an exceptional one of a kind ruby ring this is!
True to the most luxurious vintage jewelry this special ring is completely handmade. There are no cast or machined components. This is rare to see because of the level of skill, time making hand making jewelry cost prohibitive - that said few rings indeed are handmade.
In total there are 2.81 carats of beautifully cut unheated untreated deep red rubies.
The total diamond weight is 0.24 carats these lovely sparkly natural untreated diamonds are old round faceted cut VS/SI and F/G/H color.
This makes the total ruby and diamond weight 3.05 carats in this ring.
Made entirely out of solid 18K white gold the ring weighs approximately 5.9 grams. It is stamped 18K inside the shank and also has a hand engraved item number inscribed by the jewelers when this piece was custom made.
The ruby and diamond cluster itself sits 1/2" wide along the finger and measures 13/16" across the finger covering the top of the finger with dazzling rubies and diamonds. It rises approximately 3/8" high off the finger (12.5mm, 20mm, 10mm)
It is in lovely vintage condition and is ready to gift or to wear.
