This oh so high quality ring is a one of a kind design which showcases the beautiful colors of top grade Colombian emeralds against the exceptional white of the finest quality diamonds. There is a lovely contrast not only between the colors of these precious earth mined gems but also shapes. The emeralds are baguette cuts whilst each diamond is a sparkling tapered baguette. This dramatic and clever juxtaposition of colors and shapes results in an exciting and dynamic design which never tires the eye. A modernist work of art.
This hand made platinum ring weighs 7.5 grams. Inside the shank it is signed by the artist/ maker "MARK" and also marked for metal fineness "PLAT" meaning solid platinum. This is confirmed by testing.
It is in lovely condition and is ready to gift or to wear.
The face of the ring measures 7/8" long by 11/16" wide by 1/2" tall (21.5mm x 17.5mm x 13.0mm). It is beautifully made and sits nicely balanced on the finger. It feels great on.
It is a size 7 US. It can be resized.

* 11 tapered baguette cut diamonds VS clarity D/E/F color exceptional white with a total diamond weight of 1.31 carats as estimated in the setting.
* 4 gorgeous perfectly matched vivid green earth mined Colombian emeralds with a total carat weight of 0.84 carats as estimated in the setting
This makes a total weight of diamonds and emerald of 2.15 carats.
It's important to note as well here that no appraiser can assign a clarity grade of higher than VS to diamonds that are graded ina setting. In reality our appraiser says these are VVS or better clarity and E or better color.
The emeralds are a vivid green and astonishingly two of these are loupe clean which is very rare for emeralds of any size. The other two are absolutely eye clean.
This ring is sexy and very bold. It is a perfect piece for a special cocktail party or even as a custom designer statement style ring for someone with flair and confidence. It is of course also a perfect engagement ring for the stylish woman with modernist tastes.
If I try to think of something to compare it to I keep coming back to the first superman movie in the 1980s where superman throws a crystal and it turns into an amazing sculptural cathedral like structure in the snow and ice of the north pole. It really does look quite space age and inspirational.
