This opal is simply put astonishing. The whole spectrum is present in this precious opal. There is a striped pattern to the play of color with vivid flashes of every color of the rainbow appearing in long streaks including lots of the most valuable color red.
The opal measures approximately 20.5mm x 10.5mm x 4.12mm.
It weighs approximately 4.16 carats.
This valuable untreated Australian large precious crystal opal cabochon is a vintage stone in good condition, on the underside on one end you can feel a small flaw with your finger that cannot be seen. It presents well and is ready to make into a glorious pendant or ring or just to be displayed in a gem collection with pride of place.
