Here is an exceptional Art Nouveau completely handmade silver filigree bracelet circa 1890.
The workmanship here is reminiscent of 18th century filigree in the quality and intricacy of this amazing piece. Each panel is entirely made by hand with silver wire twisted and wound into a complex floral design of central daisies decorated top and bottom with a delicate floriate border. Each panel looks more like lace than silver but it is beautifully strong as it is delicate. When the light hits this fine silver handmade lace it truly looks magical!
There is a box clasp with a figure eight safety which closes securely with a nice click. The clasp is marked for 835 for fine German silver.
It measures approximately 7" long by 1 " wide across each lace panel (177mm x 26mm) and weighs approximately 23.1 grams.
This heirloom quality antique bracelet is in lovely condition being ready to gift or to wear.
