A breathtaking handmade original art deco gem quality natural translucent jadeite jade cabochon and fine white earth mined diamond ring in solid 18K white gold.

This one of a kind ring has a timeless elegance and sophistication that can't be put into words. The setting itself is asymmetrical and makes use of gorgeous sparkly white diamond baguettes and round brilliant cuts. These gorgeous diamonds are offset in such a way that you just can't stop staring at this ring. They are beautifully white diamonds and are the perfect color contrast to the intense green of the gem quality antique jade which is claw set as the centerpiece of this luxurious antique ring.

In total there is 0.40 carats of fine white diamonds which have been set by a master diamond setter into the handmade setting.

The stunning green jade cabochon itself weighs 2.5 carats as estimated in the setting.

The beautiful jadeite jade in this handmade vintage ring is untreated. Apart from normal cutting and polishing it is as mined. These days most jade seen in modern rings has been acid treated, soaked in plastic resin and dyed. Untreated jade is immensely more valuable than modern treated jade.

This makes the total precious gem weight in this one of a kind art deco diamond ring 2.9 carats.

The jade is of exceptional quality and is translucent throughout. The saturated color of the beautiful green jade is quite consistent across the cabochon. It has a beautiful polish.

Currently this divine 1920s diamond ring is a size 8 1/2 US.

The face of the ring runs 3/4" long down the finger and rises 5/16" high off the finger as it is on the hand (19mm, 8mm). This piece is in excellent condition ready to wear.

This unique 1920s jade and diamond ring is of heirloom quality. The workmanship is honestly breathtaking as are the precious gems set in this unique piece.

This ring has been examined by a professional gemologist and diamond grader, a specialist antique jewelry appraiser. Included is the Certificate of Appraisal.

It will be sent in a ring presentation box ready for gifting and for safe keeping forever.
