An exceptional pair of Retro 1940s, most likely late Art Deco solid 14K gold sapphire and diamond custom made earrings.
The design of this earrings is quintessentially high art deco and is reminiscent to me of both sunbeams and also a fan. No expense has been spared making these earrings the work completed by the setter and the jeweler is extremely fine quality. They are entirely hand crafted.
Each luxurious earring measures 15/16" wide and is 1" long (23mm x 25mm).
They have posts with omega backs which are very secure to wear and so comfortable they can be worn all day.
Together they weigh 13 grams.
In total there are 2.40 carats of fine unheated untreated natural Ceylon sapphires set across the top of the earrings.
The total fine diamond weight 3.30 carats. These diamonds are VS F which a mix of old European cut and tapered baguette cuts.
This makes the total sapphire and diamond weight in these earrings 5.70 carats.
To be honest the photographs don't do justice to how pretty these earrings are in real life. They just come alive as soon as they are worn.
These fine earrings are of heirloom quality and would make an beautiful choice for a wedding or special occasion.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
