Genuine WWII Period Ruby Sapphire and Diamond White Gold Ring - is this the most unique and romantic engagement ring ever?
Here we have a custom made World War II Era Sweetheart Ring crafted in solid 14K gold and set with a verneuil sapphire, a verneil ruby and old cut sparkly natural diamonds.
Like so much fine jewelry of this era there was little money to be spent on such luxuries here a synthetic man made sapphire and a synthetic man made ruby have been used alongside the earth mined natural untreated diamonds. This is so typical of jewelry made during the war years.
The patriotic theme is unmistakable of course immediately you look at this special ring the design just shouts out loud "red, white and blue". & Wow! Don't the colors pop too!
This one of a kind red white and blue ruby ring is completely handmade you just don't see this sort of workmanship these days. Even the texture to the face of the ring is done painstakingly by hand.
It is stamped 14K for metal fineness inside the shank, meaning solid 14 karat white gold this confirmed too by testing.
In total this romantic diamond ring it weighs 7.29 grams approximately.
Currently a size 5 1/4 US sizing it can be resized.
The face of the ring measures 7/8" long down the finger with a super low rise of just 1/4" ideal of course to wear every day as a special anniversary, engagement, promise or friendship ring!

One man made ruby this stone is an intense red so difficult to capture like a fire engine red round cut 6.7mm x 4.4mm weighing an estimated 1.40 carats.
One man made sapphire this stone is a deep intense blue almost velvety in appearance in many lighting conditions round cut measuring 5.1mm x 3.9mmm and weighing an estimated 0.80 carats.
There are thirteen (13) old cut VS clarity I/J color natural untreated white diamonds ranging in size from 1.85mm up to 2.85mm and 2.95mm for the larger diamonds. These old cut diamonds are cut deep true to cutting of the time depths of the larger diamonds being 1.8mm and 2.1mm respectively. The calculated diamond weight is approximately 0.50 carats.
The total weight of the ruby, sapphire and diamonds is 2.70 carats
It is in good condition and is ready to gift or to wear.
