Comment:
This very rare one of a kind handmade antique diamond and sapphire ring was made circa 1920. With antiques of this period this means that it was made from 1910 to the early part of the Art Deco period. It falls in the transition between Edwardian and Art Deco. As such we see intricate and very fine details more common in Edwardian diamond jewelry but also a transition cut diamond from the early part of the Art Deco period. It really is a superb and beautiful historical ring. The design has certainly stood the test of time and is as beautiful today as it was when it was made over 100 years ago!
